Ratings and reviews

Useful for making quick voice notes I can come back to later, and for recording audio observations for iNaturalist when I can't *see* noisy animals. Should work fine for longer recordings too. Basic mono, several bitrate and format options including M4A, MP3 and Ogg. Your audio stays on your phone. No ads, no subscriptions, no remotely-generated transcripts, just basic recording.

I really like the app. My concerns are: can't select folders within internal storage (e.g. the "Recordings" folder that's there by default I cannot choose), and the highlighted tab at the bottom is greyed out when it should be the other way around (the tabs that are not selected should be greyed out instead).

Fossify Voice Recorder Beta is my go to for all my recordings needs. Hands down it's the best and I can't stress enough that it's been the most reliable recorder app out there. It's easy to use and covers all basic recording needs. I recommend this app to everyone.
