Great App and Stellar Home Security - There's a lot of options when looking for a home security system but with just over 10 years with SimpliSafe, that longevity alone should speak for itself. The app is easy to use, nicely laid out and superbly functional and has NEVER frozen up, crashed or otherwise not performed as expected. The system hardware is flawless. Period. The customer service and emergency response teams are flawless. Period. You will not find a better home security system.

Over the years, I've had 2 SimpliSafe systems, set up at 2 different homes, with 2 sets of hardware, and at least 2 phones. It has been a few years now, and I have never, ever experienced 2 months of trouble-free operation. There is always some type of issue. Random software issues with cameras, or a device has to be reset, reconnected, or replaced.

Lied to about moving me to their 'Standard Plan' which no longer have push notifications/text messages. I've been on their standard plan for 7+ years (started out at $14.99, increased to $17.99 then $19.99 and $21.99 soon) and always had the ability to receive push notifications and text messages from the app. They keep increasing prices and removing features and now lying to customers. They say we never should have had the option to receive those notifications. I've had SAME PLAN for 7yr.
