My Work in Progress is a free, smart, no-nonsense gym logger designed for (and by) the dedicated weightlifter & bodybuilder.

Why choose My Work in Progress?
» My Work in Progress (myWIP for short) is designed for the dedicated gym rat. It doesn't have gimmicky/useless features, overcomplicated/nonsensical graphs, pre-made routines, and other useless things most gym apps offer. My Work in Progress is simple, smart, and focuses on providing you a clean visual overview of your workouts. If you're serious about the gym and you know what you're doing, then this gym log is for you. Best of all, it's completely free.

Note: This app is a Progressive Web App: an internet connection is needed.

Routines:
- Design your own custom workout routines for weightlifting, bodyweight, and cardio exercises.
- Create your own custom exercises and order them according to your needs.
- Create workout plans (plan workout sets ahead & add supersets).
- Supports all exercise-types: weight & time, weight, time, distance & time, etc.
- Clean and intuitive overview of all your routines and exercises.
- See quick details about last trained exercises and upcoming goals.

Workout Logger:
- Activate workout-mode when you enter the gym.
- Track your workouts in real-time and see real-time graphs and statistics to visualize your progress.
- Get real-time workout duration, volume, and exercises done during your workout.
- Add notes to your workouts.
- See upcoming goals and suggestions for your next personal record.
- Intuitive navigation and logger (+- buttons).
- Rest timer.
- Log Rated Perceived Exertion (RPE) and Reps in Reserve (RIR).
- Calendar of your previous workouts.
- Historic list of your previous workouts.
- Supports both metric and imperial units.

Goals:
- Design custom goals for exercises in great detail (weight/reps by the deadline date).
- The goals are integrated with the workout logger and throughout the app.

Track measurements:
- Create custom measurements to track, like weight, BMI, arm size, leg size, etc.
- Get a visual overview of your progress for each measurement.

General:

If you lift and want to concentrate on just lifting without the social media noise - this is it. JeFit user for over 11 years. Its nothing more than FB for fitness now. MyWIP offers full functionality w/o a subscription or upgrades. UI is simple and intuitive with built-in and customizable exercises. Dev understands lifting and knows that a movement uses more than the primary muscle group making the muscle breakdown and other progress data far more relevant. IMO this one is worth supporting.

Its a decent app. Not as user friendly as some of the other workout log apps out there, but there's a bit more customizability. One problem I have is with the timer. It resets/goes away when you change screens. If there was a way to have the timer stay in the background, I'd give this 5 stars.

I am soooo happy that I've tried this app! I've tested and compared most of the top ranked applications and was still using paper to log my workouts. This app has everything I need - I mean everything. Super easy to use, plan any routines, log sets, handles supersets, integrated timer, stats on exercice, workout calendar etc. For those with experience - this is by far the most simple yet to-the-point app I have ever tried. Top notch. I forgot - you can even plan your workouts on your computer - awesome.
