Search thousands of properties
No matter what you’re searching for, find listings you may not find anywhere else it right here on the Domain app. Search by suburb, address, price, property type, bedrooms, bathrooms, parking, land size or use keywords such as ‘pool’. You can also search by school name, and we'll show you properties in that catchment.

See properties before other buyers
Know exactly what you’re looking for? Turn on property alerts and be notified about all the new properties that match your search, even off-market ones (only available in NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and WA). Whether you’re looking for a rental property or a home for sale, property alerts help you find the right property and see properties before other buyers.

Draw your search
With map search, it’s easy to search for a property in your favourite area. Use your fingertip to circle an area you’d like to find a property in. You can then switch to list view to see all available properties for rent or sale in that area neatly laid out.

Shortlist with someone
Property hunting with someone? Don’t go it alone. Whether you’re buying with your partner, renting with your best friend or value the opinion of a trusted real estate advisor - you can invite anyone to shortlist houses or apartments with you. You’ll never have to share a link again.

Plan your inspections
It’s never been easier to be organised. Shortlist your favourite properties and we’ll add them to your inspection planner. Know when and where you need to be for your inspections or auctions. Switch to a map view to see properties in relation to each other and your current location. And you can also rate each property after you inspect it.

Follow your home’s value
Sell it, rent it or just sit tight? Follow your home on Domain for Owners to see what your next move should be. Research the market relevant to your property, follow its estimated value, current demand for your home and track local area activity (such as properties that have recently sold) all at a glance.

Ratings and reviews

Great for checking out local house to buy or rent, the app unfortunately won't remember your selections and will constantly add in recently sold to block your veiw of house to buy or rent. If there is a setting to turn off, I can't find it... Edit I don't want to have to turn it off in the more filter every time I do a map search, is there a way to save it so it doesn't keep reverting and showing up. Just getting in the way. Old prices don't help me get a new property

The app is really glitchey when looking for properties for sale, it's slow and closes itself down all the time for no paticular reason Annoying and had this app before when looking for rentals 3 yrs ago no problem then but now not good very frustrating. I'm on an Android phone not that it should matter. This is supposed to be the best app to look up real estate in Australia. Please sort it out.

The app worked reasonably well prior to the last update. Since then it crashes during every use, saved searches now includes Australia wide and there's no way to delete that particular search, the notifications lag, home page links are broken. I used to enjoy the convenience of browsing the latest listings in the app but it's now such a frustrating experience that it's easier to use the desktop site in a browser window.
