In order for your headphones to work properly on a phone, they need to connect to your phone via Bluetooth, then they need to connect to the B&O app to actually connect with out constant drops and starts. But the fun part is, the app is garbage and won't connect to the headphones most of the time, so your $300 headphones are dropping and popping about every 15 seconds. Any solution that involves me uninstalling and reinstalling an app to get basic Bluetooth connectivity is absolutely insane.

The app is pretty easy to use. I just wish they had integrations with more streaming services besides Deezer. June '24 Update: They've slowly made the app work worse and worse. 1. First attempting to adjust the volume from the phone resets it to 0 and you have to bump it up from there, rather than adjusting relative to what the volume was. 2. The redesigned sound modes are a complete train wreck. What happens when you're using them is a complete roll of a dice.

Support on the hardware was good, but this app has always struggled. I have Beoplay Portal PC/PS, and it was hard to reliably connect them to the app. Now, they don't connect at all. Good headphones and good support for the hardware, as the response times were always prompt, but I've been left hanging on the app end.
