About this app

The OneTouch Reveal® app can be used to track information from blood glucose meters to support diabetes management.

The app seamlessly syncs data with the OneTouch Verio Reflect™ meter and the OneTouch Verio Flex® meter to change the way you see your blood glucose.

Helps you easily spot blood glucose patterns
• Transforms data into colourful snapshots that connect your blood glucose with food, insulin and activity.
• Draws a timeline of important blood glucose events and activities, highlighting when you have been repeatedly out of range.
• Receive automatic notifications on your smartphone when a high or low blood glucose pattern is detected.

Personalize your diabetes management tools
• Set personalized reminders to stay on top of patterns, meds, food, exercise—whatever you need to manage your diabetes.
• With the Blood Sugar Mentor™ feature**, you get personalized guidance, insight, and encouragement to help you understand and manage your blood glucose.

Insulin Mentor™ feature:
• Get personalized mealtime insulin dose recommendations with the Insulin Mentor™ feature. The Insulin Mentor™ feature includes a large food library to help patients calculate the amount of carbs.

The Insulin Mentor™ feature is indicated for people with diabetes requiring bolus insulin, age 18 and older. Before use, a physician or healthcare professional must activate the functionality and program the set-up of patient-specific parameters and patients are required to complete a first-use tutorial. An accurate dose recommendation is dependent upon the data that you entered into the functionality as well as the settings your healthcare professional entered inclusive of your target blood glucose, your insulin-to-carbohydrate ratio, insulin duration and your insulin sensitivity.

So I like having everything in one place. But here is the problem One Touch Verio Flex will only connect to Google fit or Fitbit. So if you own anything else the option for seemless connections and holding your stuff in one place is not available to you. So app deleted. I am highly disappointed that lifespan would choose to limit itself in the market.

Keeps failing to sync account even now. Meter syncs to app just right but will not transfer app information to account to keep data. I tried explaining the issue since a security update and the female tech could not even understand what I was explaining to her. She thinks all I was supposed to do was sync meter to app. It use to sync with my account online. Now it fails. Has been since may 20th since last online sync. If I could find a meter with better app I will change it.

Awkward, not at all intuitive. Apparently you have to reenter your information before you can use the app. It does not sync with the glucometer, despite the hours I spent following the manual. If I can't use the glucometer with this app, then it is useless. UPDATE: getting a different device through my insurance and removing this from my claims. The idea is to keep track of my sugars, not blow my blood pressure through the roof. Save yourself time and money, find a different device.
