UPDATED 2024 REVIEW: Changed review to 5 stars. After some years, it was great to see that I could again use the tour I bought on 2021 and it even had updated content! The GPS triggering issues I had in the past are gone. We did the classic Road to Hana. The tips and narrations are great, sadly for some reason, the tour spots were not triggering for us automatically even though we saw the dot in the map advancing as we drove by. Would recommend for the quality of the content.

I got the classic. It was good info when it worked. It missed many of the tour points because it either never triggered or started to say something and abruptly stopped. I followed the instructions and downloaded before leaving. The GPS was working, I could see us move over tour spots, but some didn't trigger and it won't replay once you pass. After the initial review, customer service was fast and refunded my purchase. I've added a star and would say the app is worth a try.

This was a wonderful companion on our trip to Hana! Lots of history, great music, and it helped us find a few spots along the way that we would never have found otherwise (the cave was a nice detour)! My only suggestion would be to be more specific about where certain things are located as you are approaching them. For example, on a road with more than 600 turns, saying that something is "just around a bend up ahead" is a little too ambiguous, and I'm sure we missed a few things along the way.
