I have been a Mcafee user for years. It works great on my laptop. However, it just stopped work on my mobile device for android users. After the troubleshooting of reinstalling over and over as suggested, I was asked too many questions instead of actually getting to the root of the issue, and it was just unresolved. Instead of asking the customer about version numbers on the device, product numbers, fix the issue. It states clear that that it's you, not the customer, and to contact support.

It's good for what you're paying for. It lets you know what accounts or passwords are breached, and it searches for insecurities in your wifi or device. However, I do dislike how the VPN turns on periodically on its own despite the fact that I chose the setting to manually turn it on when I need to; in addition, the VPN doesn't work and my browsers and apps such as YouTube start buffering. After deactivating the VPN, apps become normal. This was never an issue before(customer since 4-2-23).

The better options require the complete service. With the free version a great set of functions are still offered and well received. An individual will give thought to the yearly subscription. A positive would be for McAfee to involve themselves in further accessibility to the premium plan.....within a sound business model, of course. 🧭
