Lignes d'Azur Tickets is the most practical way to get around the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis by bus or tram with Lignes d'Azur! No need to wait at a distributor or agency: buy tickets and subscriptions wherever you want, whenever you want. Load them on a Lignes d'Azur card or on your phone.
The application also allows you to check the content of a Lignes d'Azur card: number of trips remaining, expiry date of a subscription, etc.


YOUR PRACTICAL MOVEMENTS
Taking public transport on the territory of the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis has never been easier.
Here is how to buy and load a ticket on your Lignes d'Azur card:
• Open the application and click on "Buy a ticket on a Lignes d'Azur card".
• Follow the instructions by presenting your card at the top back of your phone to scan it.
• After checking its contents, select a title to load.
• Pay by credit card, in complete safety.
• Present your card again at the top of your phone to reload the pass you have just purchased.
• Once your purchase has been made and your card reloaded, you can use your card to travel on the Lignes d'Azur network.


Here's how to buy and load a title on your phone:
• Open the app and click on “Buy a title on the phone”.
• Select the ticket or subscription you want.
• Pay by credit card, in complete safety.
• Once your purchase has been made, you can use your phone to travel on the Lignes d'Azur network. Validate your ticket by bringing the back of your phone, screen on and NFC activated, to the validation terminal. No need to launch the app. A beep and the lighting of the green light on the terminal indicate that your pass has been validated.
• During the trip, you will see the remaining validity period of your tickets and subscriptions. During a check, present the check page to the agents so that they can check the validity of your ticket.


AN EXTENSION TO STORE YOUR TRANSPORT TICKETS
Your transport tickets are now stored in the “Carte Lignes d’Azur Mobile” extension. Thanks to it, you will no longer lose your tickets if you delete the Lignes d'Azur Tickets application. When you first purchase a title on your phone, you will be guided through the installation of this extension.

NFC Nice Ticket requires an Android version higher than 5.
NFC Nice Ticket does not work on "rooted" phones.
Your phone must be equipped with an NFC (Near Field Communication) chip. NFC technology allows devices equipped with this device to exchange data without contact with any compatible mobile terminal, simply by bringing the two media together.

Nearly very good. Downloading, setting up and buying tickets in the UK went well. Using it mostly OK but some error messages resulted in validating too many tickets. Support team were helpful. Discovered can't use combination of Solo and multi trips for group travel. Therefore had to buy more tickets than needed for us to get back to airport. So what to do with unused tickets?

Cher Mike, Les solo ne permettent des voyages qu'en solo ! Nous comprenons votre demande concernant une gamme tarifaire plus adaptée à vos besoins et allons proposer dans la prochaine version de l'application des N voyages (3 voyages, 4 voyages, 5 voyages.... 100 voyages). Encore un peu de patience !😉

I bought a ticket to recharge my transport card. After payment the ticket doesn't show up. I sent an email to the support with proof of payment. Also, since installing this app, the phone starts vibrating for NFC like activation at random times . Edit: The support team (Camille)is fantastic, they tried to solve the issue but at the end gave me a refund. 5 star for support but the app is not that great of a user experience. The vibration still continues.

Dear Vivek, We will support you until everything works. And if that's not enough (which is very rare), we'll compensate you. Sorry for the inconvenience and see you on another phone? NFC works fine: your phone vibrates as soon as it recognises a nearby card.

You can't rely on this app at the moment - one day it works and is great, another day it doesn't work, shows cryptic "E255", and you have to use other means for buying tickets, and that can ruin your day planning. On top of that, it needs NFC enabled even for buying a ticket, not just for validation. UPDATE: Thank you for the reply. There's plenty of space on the E[255] view, you could easily add the E-mail there and on your website. NFC must be kept off for security and to save the battery.
