Great idea but needs another round of refinements. This app MUST allow me to filter alerts by type and dismiss a specific alert FOREVER. Yep, I live close to the ocean; nope, I don't need rip current alerts. Each category of alert (per location) should have a config for: time of day, silent/audible, repeat (if updated) or not, never alert, and so on. Without this feature, people get alarm fatigue and disable all alerts or uninstall the app. Now you've helped no one. Just read the reviews to see.

NO ADs, no delays getting timely, pertinent, & accurate information throughout the country. Connection to resources and shelters at your fingertips. Great preparation information to prevent or reduce harm. I recommend this app in-person to everyone (my nephews would think I'm a broken record of they knew what that meant). Very responsive tech team. Rarely do they change the format/GUI, so everything is exactly where you expect it every time, which is critical in a real emergency.

App is solid and works as advertised. Problem is lack of ability to tune alerts. I don't want to have my family woken up every night at 03:00 because the weather service has verified that we are still red flag warning for the fourth day in a row or because the riverbanks that always flood are going to flood again. Yes, you can manually silence it every night with effort, but I do want to be woken if there is an actual wildfire or flood.
