Another update, another issue. It used to be I could do remote transfers using the mobile app. Not anymore. Which really has me in a bind. My college age kid has rent due, account is getting low, and I can't transfer money to their account. I can't help but wonder if PenFed is actively trying to get rid of members. It would explain the continued problems with their app.

Buggy. App won't process anything. Just spins. Try to open up the submit payment button and it just goes and goes. Same with submitting feedback. Spins and spins. Frustrating experience. Needs an update. Feels significantly more out of date compared to other credit card and banking apps. And right now is unusable.

This mobile app continuously hangs and locks up when trying to transfer or use Zelle. An external abort action must be taken in order to quit. This has been happening for over a week, that I'm aware of. I've uninstalled the app, restarted my android phone, and reinstalled the app with no change to the hangs.
