Control your Nest thermostat, arm and disarm your Nest Secure alarm system, see your home with Nest Cam and receive an alert if Nest Protect goes off – all in one place. And receive notifications on your Android phone or tablet.

Nest uses sensors, algorithms and the location of your phone to do the right thing automatically, turning off the heating and turning on the camera when you leave. Forgotten to set the alarm? It will notice, and send you a Remind me alert.

Ratings and reviews

I managed to get it to both use a schedule, and otherwise keep the temperature where I set it, for my Nest Thermostat. But it takes a significant amount of work in the various settings menus, and considerable devotion to detail whenever it pops up and wants to change the settings. Be sure to turn off all the automatic changes as well as the "away" detection, and decline anything that lets the power company make setting changes for you. You can control your own life! Up vote to add a wizard.

Easy & Super Convenient!(4/23) I have now been using the Nest Apps for 3 years. And I love it. It's so very convenient! I can check up on my properties, or set the temperature down before I get home. Plus, it tells you how long it will take. And you can set schedules with easy options. I'm very happy with it and it ir completely worth the money. Customers service, when needed, was amazing. Very knowledgeable & helpful!

Mostly works and fairly simple to operate. Biggest gripe is in the temperature schedulimg calendar for the thermostat, it's just awkward and locks your phone in landscape mode. I've used other thermostat apps, Honeywell for one, is much better for scheduling. Also, like others, the learning part mostly useless if you work from home or no set daily schedule. And NO, I donr want it to remember the 1 time I set the temp to an extreme number for a few hours when I knew power was going out.
