We have fundamentally revised and upgraded the VRS app. These useful functions await you:

 
Your personal dashboard

- Customize the new start page of the VRS app according to your wishes. Add functional tiles and arrange them according to your needs.

- The interactive map shows you all the mobility options in your immediate vicinity. From the nearest stop to rental bikes, scooters, bike boxes and car sharing.

- Subscribe to notifications for specific lines of your choosing.

- Lightning-fast access to your favourite stops and connections. Or press “home” and let the VRS-App take you from your current location to your front door.

Discover Routes and Connections

- Enter start and destination - get the best connections. With stopovers, different means of transport and always with the matching ticket.

- Pin your connection to your dashboard, so you always have all live times in view.

- Cartographic representation of the entire travel route, including footpaths.

- Your next bus is stuck in traffic? Choose from a variety of multimodal alternatives at transfer points along the route.

- Save your desired stops and connections as favourites.

Tickets

- Get your Deutschlandticket in just a few clicks.

- All tickets of the regular VRS fare system, incl. 3% mobile ticket discount.

- Save your favourite tickets and buy tickets for fellow passengers.

Ratings and reviews

The reason i used this app was the clean interface. Now is incredibly bad and spammy. Not even able to access a stop without having to touch 100 elements. Totally non sense. * it would be a great improvement to have all the favourite stops (NOT connections) in a page. And if you could set your favourite stops as widget on the home. I think a lot of users would love it and rate the app at least 4* I will be happy to change my rating to 5* if those featres are implemented

With the new version the widget disappeared, which was the only reason I used the app. New version has some useful new functions, but it takes ages to access them, and one is faster with third party apps. For example, dashboard preview is too short for busy station with more than one line, so one has to navigate first through 4+ options first to able to see a useful list. Before information was available without opening the app. Unable to add already purchased monthly subscription from VRS.

Upd: got refund without asking for it, hopefully the situation described below was an exception, so I upd my rating. After the last update I bought ticket and after payment was taken the ticket was not shown in the app. Even after some minutes (while I was waiting for the transport) there was no ticket in the app... Note: I am using app quite often for 2+ years, and it always worked properly and was comfy to use (plan trips and buy tickets).
