You can only use the FreeStyle Libre 3 app with FreeStyle Libre 3 Sensors. It is not compatible with FreeStyle Libre or FreeStyle Libre 2 Sensors.

The FreeStyle Libre 3 app is intended for measuring glucose levels in people with diabetes when used with a FreeStyle Libre 3 Sensor. Ratings and reviews

The sensor itself works well most of the time. I like its small size and battery life. This barebones app, however, is an absolute joke. Even with a brand new phone, it crashes nearly every time I use it. The options for alarm customization are measly, Without the ability to calibrate an inaccurate sensor, I often end up turning off alarms anyway, because of how useless it becomes. Dexcom's app is far better. I'm switching and not looking back.

I agree w/many of the suggested potential fixes. Overall, NOT a lot of issues with the device, EXCEPT when starting a new sensor every 14days. It seems like I have to start my phone over & over, turn the Bluetooth off & on, again & again in order to get Libre3 app to recognize the new sensor before it finally starts (over 30 minutes after changing the old sensor) in order for the new sensor to work! VERY FRUSTRATING! It's not encouraging when technology doesn't work the way it's supposed to!

Absolutely useless. Constant "signal loss" which causes constant grating alarms telling me the app that doesn't work is, surprise, not working. Want to check glucose levels? Hope you have 15 mins to restart your phone over and over again, and turn Bluetooth on and off ad-nauseum until by some miracle it starts to communicate with the sensor. Tried in multiple devices.
