The lights are epic, they're very handy and I can do a lot of things with them; I really enjoy them. The app, however, is less than ideal. It's taken me upwards of 10 - 15 minutes at times to get the lights to connect. I've taken to spamming my airplane mode and Bluetooth on and off as rapidly as I can make my fingers go in hopes that it'll reset the insane loading times and connect faster

2 years later and it's still trash. The app just isn't reliable. Should have bought Phillips brand. Buggy. Often fails and loads the light option for ages before you can do anything. Will often fail at turning lights off. The app keeps getting worse. I usually just turn the light off and on again just to use it as intended. Coming back again to say there's been no change! Still only works when it wants to.

The app was great. Now my automation doesn't work. I've reset it and the internet. Just to be clear, it used to work on the exact same system. It feels like a phone app problem. The string lights will not connect to the internet. I hope this app starts working again. My phone is an S24 ultra. Please fix the problem, I really do enjoy using Govee stuff.
