About this app

Square Team app is the one place for your team to communicate, manage rotas, access timecards and stay in sync – all on the go. It also allows them to see their hours worked, breaks, overtime and estimated pay.

Your whole team can chat using real-time messaging and employers can send out important updates and announcements so the whole team stays in the know.

Team members can see when and where they’re scheduled to work, pick up open hours and make sure their rota fits with their personal schedule. It also allows them to see their hours worked, breaks, overtime and estimated pay.

Built for businesses using Square, the app enables employees to clock in and out on their phones instead of at the POS, which saves time and eliminates the need for team members to crowd around the POS to clock in. Ratings and reviews

Crew app was a way better experience. Since the mandatory switch to Square from Crew, my entire workplace has had to start using group messages over text as Square didn't transfer any data from the Crew app. On top of all of this, when I tried switching over and getting my team to replatfrom it wouldn't work for any of my team members and it would keep me locked out of my location for a previous location I worked. In summary, Square is horrible it cant communicate, update, or organize at all.

Android functionality is extremely limited compared to the iOS version, and even that is not as functional as Crew was. Very disappointing that the switch from Crew was mandatory, given the apparent disregard for quality and functionality of the replacement. Hopefully Square Team will fix these issues soon and not continue to disappoint their clientele with this subpar app

The support section of the website is as useless as the app. Dark mode not available, no way to archive old messages. Square unarchived old messages from people no longer employed with the company needlessly cluttering up my screen. Every time it opens it goes to squares home screen, would prefer it go to messages. Crew was much much better. Apparently iPhone supports dark mode and message archiveing. It's the 21st century learn to program for Android, do better.
