About this app

MitID is your digital ID. You use it when you want to log in, sign digitally and approve actions in various self-service solutions. If you need to approve on your mobile or tablet, you do it with a single swipe in the app. To authenticate on your computer, scan a QR code.

Activate your MitID
You can activate your MitID in your app by scanning your passport/ID card or with an activation code from Borgerservice. If you have a new mobile, you can copy your MitID from your old app.

In the app you can also...
Check your user ID and change the mobile number you use for MitID.

Have a spare MitID
Having an extra MitID is a good idea. If you happen to lose your mobile with the app on it, you can still use MitID.

Ratings and reviews

The app has stopped working on phones, it only works when scanning a QR from a PC. If used from a phone it loops back to the service you are trying to acces, some leading to s temporary block. I got blocked from e-boks for trying to access through my phone. It used to work perfectly on Android, please fix it so I can rate you back with 5 stars.

No longer automatically detects app from others like MinSundhed or netbank. Had to mess around with appsettings for mitid to eventually get it working. (Tried a few suggestions from reviews, in my case had to manually set permissions and force all requests to use app - which wasn't default anymore)

app works when verifying on pc, however it has stopped working completely on my phones for verification purposes ever since i switched to firefox browser as my default and i dont use anything else, i cannot log into anything with MitID on my phone. seeing as this is a mandatory app to have it should be required to work on with every single browser, i could easily see this stop working on pc when i eventually switch to firefox or librewolf(fork of firefox) unacceptable.
