About this app

Track and send your packages with the PostNL app. In the app you always have a complete overview of everything that is on its way to you.
Sending a package is also easy via the app. Looking for a PostNL point? You can also easily find these in the app.
Curious which mail is on its way to you? Activate My Post so that you also have a complete overview of all your mail (note: only available in the Netherlands).
So you always have us at hand!

Always stay up to date! If you enable notifications, we will ensure that you are always aware of the latest status of your package.
Also install the PostNL widget on your home screen to always be up-to-date.

Send something? Have the QR code from your account scanned and receive a shipping receipt by e-mail.
Simply create a label via the app and have it printed at a PostNL point.

Need a stamp? Buy a digital stamp and write it on the letter, handy!
You can also make your own photo card; upload a photo and use it to create a personal card (note: stamp code and photo card are only available in the Netherlands).

Can't select the nearest (couple of) service centres for delivery, it will be "some centre en route to you", which is usually two kilometres away instead of 200m. Somehow can't move two packages that were supposed to be delivered on the same day, to the same day, even when I tried to delay the deliveries. Pretty annoying and wasteful. The setup with account and address is rather frustrating but hasn't broken since. Also, there are advertisements in the app.

PostNL appears to be taken over by those addicted to seeing engagement metrics go up. They are removing useful features to force interaction with the app or email. App notifications no longer show estimated time and just says to look for it in the app (notification has become less useful). Email subjects used to show the time of delivery and now it just shows "this is the time for your package" and the actual time is only in the body of the email (email subject is less useful). Shameful!

Fairly useless app. Guess it's OK if you have multiple parcels you want to track, but otherwise you can just use the track and trace website. Anything useful requires an account, like changing what should happen with an incoming parcel when you aren't home. A shame, another company that wants your data and therefore another place that might leak it in an IT incident. I'd prefer having less accounts, not more.
