About this app

My Intercom is an app that allows you to speak to your visitors via your smartphone or tablet. Whether you’re connected to WIFI or 4G**, you will be able to receive video calls.

* Receive access requests

Even if you’re away from home, you can now talk to your visitors. You can choose whether to open the door or not. It’s simple and efficient.

* Manage your devices

You can add one or several devices to use to open the door. Got a new phone? Don’t worry, you can add or delete devices that are set up to receive video calls.

* See your history

This feature allows you to view your video call history. It gives you the chance to check who called in case of any doubts.

* Installation

First of all, it’s important to check that you are eligible to use this app. The app is part of the Intratone product range. Make sure that your landlord, property manager or owner offers this service.

Don't your calls come in video?
Video calls require high-speed internet access (3G, 3G+, 4G, WiFi...). If your app does not have access to the Internet during the call, you will be contacted in audio. In this case, you can open the door with the * key on your device.

Some flip cases or covers, such as S-view, that allow you to view the smartphone's screen by area or transparency, can block calls and are therefore not compatible. In case of malfunction, consult the smartphone manufacturer.

As others say, if you can help it, don't get this service. Sometimes it doesn't work, you just get a phone call instead of in the app, and the app notifications for kissed calls don't disappear. I have to disable and re-enable notifications each time, very annoying. Sent an email about it, haven't heard back. I guess there's no fix. How can that eve be possible, are there no developers working on this app?

The app just doesn't work. It constantly keeps crashing. Even if I have the app open in the foreground, calls are not coming through. I already tried reinstalling and logging in again, buy to no avail. I wish they would just provide a dedicated hardware device that I could install in my how, rather than being dependant on this app. 2025 update: app is still useless. Even with it open on full screen, calls won't come through 80% of the time.

1. The installation on the backup phone has never worked 2. The installation on the primary phone is no longer sending notifications, even while the app is running in the foreground - just a missed call notification 3. The app drains the battery even if it doesn't process notifications 4. No public APIs, so I can't even try and build a better alternative 5. No support for physical intercoms, so you're at the mercy of an unstable app when it comes to getting call notifications, with no backups.
