The subscription service promises a 5% discount, however I was unable to find a charger that Zapmap had negotiated a discount on. I requested a refund and instead my account was cancelled and then I was referred to Google and so far I have not been able to get any refund. I am not sure what this app offers that my own car's navigation system doesn't already offer, namely identify chargers on the satnav map.

In theory, this app would be very useful. In practice, it was a nightmare. It has twice trapped me in a charging cycle within three days long after I had actually left the charging station. This meant I could not use another charger via ZapMap until the software somehow sorted itself out. After about 18 hrs! I emailed support several times but got no response. BIG PROBLEM if you rely on the app to pay for charges. I was left with nearly no more power and no way to recharge while travelling.

Always been an excellent and comprehensive guide to charging when away from home. Having given me free advice for many years, I only thought it fair to pay an annual subscription for the latest features.
