I gotta say. what on earth happened. The app worked perfectly fine with my AVR-X1600H model, and the UI was fantastic and smooth. Then they went and """"upgraded"""" everything and completely redesigned the app and now nothing works. The new UI....oh my lord it is GARBAGE. It's so hard to find anything without using the search bar now! And it doesn't work with my receiver anymore. I have turned it on and off again, reinstalled the app, checked my LAN connection, everything. Nothing works.

What a disaster. Used to be a good, basic app. Now it crashes repeatedly, and I cannot control any devices in real-time because the toggles do not work unless I constantly close and reopen the app. They also say it's now "streamlined" but my music services are all over the place so they can now load the app with the content they want to push. This garbage should be avoided.

Really poorly designed app. App is really slow and buggy. They advertise integration with music services but most features don't work. Want to play a specific song or album on Pandora...can't. Want to play a station on TIDAL....can't. It's not that music services won't integrate with a third party system. They did the bare minimum for the marketing department but they haven't put any effort into actually making it a good product. It's a shame because the hardware is great
