Theoretically, this app does what it is designed to do: connect to my implanted heart monitoring device and send that data to my doctor. However, there is no feedback to me, the user/patient, on what it actually does. It would be nice to be able to SEE some of that data. I get more information from Fitbit/my Pixel Watch than this. Also the app regularly (and quietly) crashes and stops responding, requiring it to be forcibly restarted. I only hope it's not losing data when this happens.

Like others have said, the app is overall unreliable. No sense in repeating all the problems already noted, but I experience them all. If the device itself worked as poorly as this app, I would likely be dead. It is a bit annoying to have the app shut itself down then get a message reprimanding me for not keeping the app running! I didn't close the app; it closed itself. I wish this app was as reliable as the app that puts a clock on my screen. I don't need to start that over every day or so.

I hate to sound like I'm piling on, but what others have said is true: the app is simply awful. It regularly crashes and fails to relaunch itself. When you notice and relaunch it manually sometimes it takes it several minutes to start communicating with your device again. It is horribly coded and Medtronic doesn't seem to care. (Last update 10 months ago despite reviews reporting issues.) I don't think my doctor trusts it. They got the data from my ICD instead of using what the app sent.
