The app works well as a timer. Like a big stopwatch on batteries. But terrible interface. 2 security flags. the app needs your home address in order to operate. You also can't do *any* operations until your location has been acquired! Blue tooth connection is very slow. This is important! Programming is both easy but not intuitive. It took me 3 tries before I could configure a plan that worked. Manual mode means, run a zone in timed fashion. So you can't just run a zone to clean your boots.

After the initial setup, this system is pretty amazing. The rain delay is very annoying. I live in Colorado, so the 80% chance of rain the day before (which is what b-hyve depends on, and will cancel the next days watering automatically) if the 80% chance of rain dissapears overnight , and causes me to have to do a manual watering the next day for all of my 7 zones. Which is daunting and kinda cancels the reason for having b-hyve. All in all, it's a good product

Scheduling works fine most of the time. I can't seem to figure out how to make smart watering keep my lawn alive, it seems to skip several days where it should have watered. Also, my older generation timers don't report that they've watered - I'll remove and re-add them, but while they do water when scheduled, the app doesn't seem to recognize it. I'm giving 3 stars, as manual timers work, but the smart features can't be relied upon.
