I tried the free trial, but it wasn't free! I used it one time and then canceled. As I was scanning thru my transactions, only to see a $16.35 charge from Norton. Today, Customer Service and I just couldn't give them the info they needed to refund my money. They were awesome today trying to help me work this out. Thatt's why I gave the app 2, otherwise it would've been a 1!!

The app is great when it works and it worked well for the first few months. Now, it has trouble connecting the VPN and even though I have auto connect on, it still will not try. A lot of times it won't connect even if I manually turn vpn on. This happens in Norton 360 and Secure VPN apps. I tried talking to their online help and after waiting about 30 minutes their solution was uninstall and reinstall. Still does not work properly.

I would say it's a toss-up between bitdefender and my old standby Norton 360. Bitdefender is better for more advanced users but when you have parents and you want to take care of them and they'd like to fiddle with things if they know how to use Norton they'll like it! I personally find the integrity of Norton to be second to none when it comes to cyber security. The security suite is as rich and powerful as any in the world and it's backed up by a name that's trusted globally!
