i didn't find this compelling. like Duolingo in a chat interface, still reliant on your native language rather than using language. Why i'm giving one star -- difficulty getting a refund. They say 7-day trial period. I cancelled after three. Google Play says its too late. Finding it very hard to contact EF Hello. They don't even have a support email. so far this is NOT A TRIAL PERIOD. its a they are going to TAKE YOUR MONEY period. will update as progress with refund process

I'll be honest here. i been using applications like Duolingo. This application is unique your listening gets to perfection if you keep hearing local accent that's where this application comes in. I improved my listening skills through this application because here you find local British accent. it helped me to recognize how they pronounced words.

This app is really great, paired with Duolingo. I'm finding they fill the gaps that each other leaves. Duo is better for memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules, and EF is great for practicing listening comprehension, speaking, and learning more real life application of the learned concepts. Neither app is perfect, but together I feel I'm making better progress.
