Downloaded the app so that I could choose my room and do contactless checking. Neither worked. I got to the hotel, opened the app, and selected digital key. It told me to check in at the front desk. That's not contactless! Front desk person assigned me a room (not the one I chose). I didn't say anything and just went with it because I was angry and tired from traveling. It wasn't the employee's fault. I requested physical keys because now I don't trust the app! Oh, and it was a pain logging in.

Have been using the app seemlessly for a decade. Making reservations, checking in, digital keys and everything. Now, for the last three weeks, I can't even sign in, but instead get the oops something happened on our end error. I can login through thr website, but that doesn't help me when I'm traveling. Finally just deleted the app and booked through Bonvoy.

I liked the app when I first got it but I have so many problems with it nowadays. Being able to just go straight to my room was such a plus but in recent months I haven't been able to get a digital key so I still have to stop at the desk. The front desk people are no help sometimes. And now it won't even key me check in just gives me an error all the time. I deleted and restated the app signed off and back it and nothing has worked. Might as well go back to a paper confirmation.
