Ratings and reviews

The app tracks your phone. Period. It has no way to determine, or option, to tell when you're a passenger, or if a passenger is using your phone. It also randomly "thinks" you're driving, i.e. pops up saying it's tracking your drive... While you're sitting at your desk. Very flawed. Also, when it updates your "score", there is no score ard or metrics or anything. Just a rate hike with no reasoning.

Do not use Maps or Waze during the trial period! It registers as "using the phone while driving" and counts against your score. Decativating the app or location services is logged and can count against your score. The insurance rates are great if you can navigate the traps within the app. Even if you are a great driver, your score will drop from certain issues within the app. This seriously needs to be addressed if a person is expected to have a near perfect score to be accepted.

I saved a lot of money by switching from GEICO. I forgot about this app review. I had to change it because it kept going up in price instead of going down in price. They get you signed up at a low rate but after a couple months it just keeps going up. I ENDED UP WITH ALLSTATE FOR $55 CHEAPER.
