BlueDriver is a professional diagnostic scan tool and the App is free to install but does require the purchase of the BlueDriver Bluetooth® OBD2 Sensor to communicate with your vehicle. The Sensor is sold separately under the 'More' tab in App or at www.BlueDriver.com. Repair Reports can be generated without purchasing a Sensor by tapping 'Repair Reports' > 'New Report' and entering the VIN and Trouble Code.

The BlueDriver Sensor simply connects to your data port located inside your car near the steering wheel. Every car made since 1996 has a data port. BlueDriver has global vehicle compatibility and can be used anywhere in the world.

Former battle tank mechanic turned independent auto mech here. I'm a super late adopter for bluedriver -- I've only had it a week, but it's been a good week. Pulled mode 6 data, which is exciting. What I'm really enjoying however, is the connectivity. It connects easy, pulls the vin for me, and was dang close on the mileage: off by less than 50. It did its job without any hiccups. I didn't think a working scan tool in my budget would ever come to market. Woo!

I would recommend this APP and it's component. No question that it is the best on the market and I love being able to record the live part of the appp, because it's hard to watch the live feed and drive at the same time. One other thing that I like about it is that you can keep all of your maintenance receipts and records of what you have done to the vehicle's that you have. You can also reset your check engine light and depending on the Year the abs light and the tpms light as well.😄😄😄

Worked, then an update apparently disabled it, with no notification. Update: paired after 7-8 tries. Had to re-pair on blutooth & be connected to wifi, for update download. Working, now. I'm still upset about a Tool that is disabled apparently on updating. I shouldn't have to search the internet to see if each new update will throw me into a loop of futility.
