There's a problem with the app in recent weeks (although it has always been temperamental and tends fo crash). First it kept saying that items were unavailable, so I couldn't order. Then it wouldn't let me change locations and kept defaulting to the world map, so I couldn't order. Today it won't let me checkout and keeps defaulting to the home page... So I can't order!

Great for collecting points, truly awful at spending them. It crashes and freezes regularly and it's latest trick is announcing that food I've ordered for pick up isn't available when I get to the restaurant, when the restaurant advises that it is. This results in cancelling the order through the app and re processing using a code, so you can't use the points. Do better McDonald's!

An extremely buggy app that constantly crashes when you actually arrive at the restaurant. Places the order just fine but when you get to the restaurant and unlock your phone to tell it you're there, it completely freezes up, defeating the entire point of the app. The other issue I've had is if you use Reward Points to claim a food item and the app bugs out and can't submit your order, you lose the points! For one of the biggest brands in the world, they have a fantastically sh*te app.
