About this app

Veo makes your daily commute easier and faster. Download the app, grab a Veo e-scooter, bike, or e-bike and just enjoy the ride.

HOW VEO WORKS
Step 1: Find the closest e-scooter, bike, or e-bike.
Step 2: Scan to unlock! Scan the QR code (or enter the scooter's or bike’s ID number) to unlock it. Enjoy your ride!
Step 3: Park in a designated parking zone (shown in the app) when done. To finish your ride and stop the fare, just tap the "End Ride" button in the app or push down the lever on the bike lock. We do the rest!

A decent alternative to taxis or buses if you're a regular user. The subscription rollover for regular riders makes rides more affordable by skipping the startup fee. Without that, the ebikes would be too expensive to justify using regularly. I dislike getting a text every odd minute when my bike has a low battery. One would suffice. I shelled out a fortune once forgetting to close a ride. There should at least be an option to remotely close a ride. That case justifies periodic notifications.

used to function well but, now Everytime you try to lock there's will be an issue that forces you to pay more than you are supposed to. It'll start crashing during the photo and you have to exit and re-enter the app multiple times just to lock it. It also has a severe issue with its GPS sometimes the scooter won't even move on the map so you can't lock it. It will say you're in a no ride zone despite clearly being in a ride zone even on their map. you have to move it and come back to lock

Takes forever to load, which might be intentional as if you're using it during a ride it will get money for stalling you. Sometimes it just flat out refuses to unlock or lock bikes. And the map is pretty screwy. You'll find multiple bikes in one location and it'll still tell you that's not a parking spot. Veo in general is still working a lot of things out, it seems. It's a life-saving idea but the execution is not quite there yet.
