This was great at one time, but now a pop-up constantly pops up covering the remote features. Of course, it does this right before you press the volume button, so you are clicking on this "trending now" advertisement, and it takes a minute to back out of. I think Roku is the latest buisness to try telling its consumers what they should want instead of listening to what we want. This app was just supposed to be a backup remote in case you lose the real remote.

This app is awful. When watching on your phone, whenever your show gets to an ad break and the ad break is over, it restarts your episode. If you try to fast forward to where you were before the break, it triggers another ad break and starts it again from the beginning, making the show unwatchable. I've tried restarting the app, restarting my phone, uninstalling then reinstalling the app - all without success. This has been a problem for months. So disappointed.

Update 09/20/2024 It was fine til today. Getting to recent apps was easier than having to pull down a menu and locate tiny icons. You should've just stuck with fixing the "streaming the next episode" fix and left the rest alone.🙄 ******* The remote was easier to navigate when the UI was larger. Do you all forget that people with sight impediments might actually want to see what they're doing when navigating the remote interface?
