mx+ is the best bt obd2 adapter I've paired and used with my phone and the obdlink app is great for monitoring vehicle data including DTCs for troubleshooting and also providing a way to clear tripped DTCs. Using the MX+ adapter and Alpfaobd I was able to customize the dash visuals, force regen along w turning different options on and off on my 2014 ram using my android. This app paired with their mx+ obd2 bt adapter is impressive in reference to the added capability it adds to your phone.

Used to be a decent app till the recent update. After updating it'll read everything one time then the next time its connected it won't read anything yet other apps will. Downgraded to verison 5.37.1 and all the bugs went away. Edit : tried the updated version and its even worse 9 out 10 times it'll say its connected but won't show any data yet a free obd2 app works every time. Really disappointing considering this app is made for my MX+ scanner.

App is OK. 1. Could use some improvement to the UI to make navigation in the app menus more intuitive. 2. Doesn't want to connect to the OBD device easily. Inconsistent. Then drops connection. 'Connect instructions' don't always work. Have to use more typical OBD reader methods; e.g., when to have key on or off, engine off or running. 3. App changes phone settings to update itself automatically. I turn auto update off. App turns auto update back on. Phone settings are owner choice.
