About this app

The Spirit Music Box works similar to the world famous Para4ce device, but this app uses a lot more sensors!

Most physical ghost hunting hardware uses a type of sensor and most of these sensors are built in to mobile devices.

If any of the sensors pick up a change then the Music Box will start playing an old eerie music box song.

A great tool to have with you on a Ghost Hunt or Paranormal Investigation!

Simply place the phone in any area, click the "Calibrate" button then move away from the phone, DO NOT MOVE YOUR PHONE.

If you move the phone after it has been calibrated you may need to recalibrate, simply click the "Back" button, move the device to a new area, then click "Calibrate" again.

If any of the sensors are too sensitive and are picking up noise (generating false positives), you can turn the sensor off by clicking on the sensor box on the screen.

The sensors used are:

EMF - This uses the magnetometer sensor for Magnetic and Electromagnet fields around the device

MOVEMENT - This uses the Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Linear Accelerometer and Gravity sensors to detect any device movement and the slightest vibrations around the device

PROXIMITY - Can detect if something moves close to the device

LIGHT - Detects any changes in light around the device

AIR PRESSURE - Detects any change in the Ambient Air Pressure around the device

TEMPERATURE - Detects any changes in the Ambient Temperature around the device

HUMIDITY - Detects any changes to the Humidity around the device

DEW POINT / R-HUMID - This uses the Relative Humidity sensor to detect any moisture around the device. If the temperature sensor is also present then by using both the temperature and relative humidity sensors we can work out the dew point.

Please check what sensors your device has. The app will still work without them, using the sensors that your device has got. If your device is missing any sensors then it will state "Sensor not found" in the sensor box.

confused on how to use this. once calibrating was done, I tried putting my hand in front of the phone - airplane mode, and everything else was OFF ... but it wouldn't detect my hand. I had to touch my phone just for it to go off for a split second. so it does work, but I thought with the music box, something needs to be infront of it for it to be triggered.. any help would be appreciated

Ooooo interesting. Bit puzzled on why it randomly plays music for about two seconds and nothing flashes. Maybe the spirit isn't strong enough to set anything off. Just a wee thought. I'm quite happy with the app. Update: All sensors are off, apart from the emf. But why does the emf part constantly flash when you are moving the device to another room?

Works as it should, if there are no ghost it probably won't do much which is good, yesterday it went off settings on a wall ledge shame I don't know what set it off as I can't find a saving option for the session. If there is one please let me know where I can find it otherwise please add a record mode as I was in another room so didn't know it gone off until I come back to it. Only thing it could be is the light going down to save energy in the building otherwise it might be paranormal 👻
