For the most part it's easy to use. But it's impossible to use to buy travel money or use other outside links. That's because it defaults to a landing page when you leave the app. You need to leave the app first to find your rewards number as it is not carried over. Saving it to the clipboard helps here. But having filled in all the mandatory personal and bank details you need to leave the app to confirm payment on the bank account app. So you end up back on that landing screen with nothing done

Generally I think the app is well put together it feels good, is responsive and the UI is clear and relatively easy to understand most of the time. I rarely encounter any bugs and when I do they are always remedied by an easy reinstall. My only real complaint is sometimes it can be difficult to search or navigate through the products that are on star offer for items you're actually interested in. Would like to see a dark mode too.

Better than most supermarket reward systems as you get pounds not points. We're a big family and we do big shops and Asda is our main supermarket. We appreciate this. The app works great, no problems at all. You can redeem your rewards from the cashpot or choose to save them up. You can even move them to a Christmas cashpot. If you create a voucher you must scan it in store to get it deducted from your shop. If you're ordering online it's automatically deducted from your shop.

What's new

In this update, we’ve been doing some more behind-the-scenes work to prepare the app for some very exciting future updates, alongside general improvements and bug fixes.

In the meantime, if you’re looking to extend your Cashpot rewards and avoid expiry, don’t forget about our Christmas Saver!

Our Christmas Saver Cashpot allows you to save your Cashpot for spending between November 8th and December 31st. You can convert your Christmas Saver balance to vouchers to spend across Asda and George.
