on the original Google TV Streamer box, activating the parole license completely fails with a false error message complaining about network connectivity, and Advising me to check the Internet connection and or disable VPN which I don't even have.

This is the easiest way to disable and uninstall pre-installed TV apps. I have a Panasonic TV which has a lot of factory catch-up TV apps which despite disabling in the Android settings, always get re-enabled after the TV is restarted. With this app the unwanted apps are disabled and stay disabled. I also used this on a Sony TV to disable a load of hidden Sony bloatware and background processes, which now has my TV running faster and more smoothly than it ever has.

very good app for my sansui tv android 11 removed bloatware from my tv and please note do not uninstall google play services play store or any other important system app as it can ruin your tv always check from google which ones are system app and which ones are not so your tv does not get ruined and if you are using it to grant overlay access to apps like octopus if you want to play games in your tv with keyboard mouse so i recommend downloading the octopus app from apk mirror and also you can download the games from apk mirror and choose f droid if that game is available on it but most probably it wont thank you.
