Instant mobile refrigerant charge calculator for HVACR applications.

The HVACR Check & Charge™ mobile app from Copeland provides an on-site refrigerant charge calculator for air conditioning and refrigeration applications. Based on historic sliding cardboard charge calculators, this app allows contractors to easily calculate the ​correct system refrigerant charge for R-22, R-410A, R-32, R-407C, R-134a, R-452B, R-454B, R-438A, R-422B, R-427A, R-421A, R-404A, R-290, R-449A, R-448A, and R-407A. Contractors can simply choose Superheat, Subcooling, or Airflow and enter the specified system temperatures along with the latent and sensible environmental loads. These values are then used to determine the proper system charge and whether the charge amount needs to be altered based on these conditions.

Great app, my entire shop uses it. But the tolerances for what's a correct charge are a bit off. for subcool, only 1 degree off is all I'll allow. Would be nice if I could adjust what is considered a correct charge in settings, but that may just be me. Other then that, has all the refrigerants even 454B as it came out and works great.

I absolutely love this software, it is extremely extremely easy to use and I tell technicians and installers to download it so we don't have to worry about referencing a charge chart for superheat. I also LOVE that the interface changes the range and available number of temperature options and just doesn'taleays have the same values.. (i.e. if you select 50 degree indoor wetbulb, it only gives you 2 options for outdoor dry bulb 55 and 60 degrees) AND says to not charge at low temps, etc. LOVE IT

Great app 5 stars. But even with five stars there's always room for improvement. I'm an HVAC tech, an located in the deep south (New Orleans area) which equals high temperatures with high humidity. I have noticed on several occasions the highest dry bulb temperature I can select was 95 degrees it gets hotter than that here. Also when doing superheat, sometime I cannot set the proper wet bulb temperature that I actually have with the pressure that I have. I will have to raise the actually temper
