HomeSafe View: Live Swann DVR viewing on your Android phone
HomeSafe View supports the following features:
Multi-channel viewing with up to 16 cameras on screen at the same time (16ch view works best on tablets)
Play back stored recordings from your DVR on your handset or tablet (requires high upload speed internet)
Capture video from your camera live view to your Phone to play back later
Capture single and multi still images and save these to your Phone's picture library
Control PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras remotely

Note: Current model handsets and tablets are recommended for high resolution playback and live viewing more than 8 cameras at once.

Note: This app uses a data stream that will connect to your Swann DVR via 3G/4G or WiFi. When using 3G/4G, the video from your DVR will likely be considered "downloads" by your phone service provider and will contribute to any download limit your phone data plan may have. If you exceed any plan limits you may incur additional usage charges. Consult with your mobile service provider regarding the use of a video streaming app and how it may affect your plan.

I haven't had the issue with video feed not loading that a lot of other people are having, but I haven't been able to use the option bar along the left side for months. One day it disappeared and I couldn't get it back, even if I force closed the app or uninstalled and reinstalled. It finally reappeared one day, but I couldn't playback video for that entire time. I have had issues with the app crashing from time to time while I'm trying to open a feed. I don't suggest buying this camera system.

Unable to get live support for this app. My cameras are no longer visible on my phone. I used the automated chat and went round and round and round to no avail! It is very frustrating that companies assume the customer should be able to figure out every technical problem with no support. I guess now it's expected for customers to pay high prices for the goods, but receive low customer service/support? Well, speaking for the little people, this is not right! Smh

Very faulty app. It is incompatible with every operating system in a different way for each. Mine has android 8.1.0 and the menu options are nowhere to be found. This is one of your most important marketing details and you gave it to your 3 year old to program. Also with the most sophisticated system that you have I expected to be able to see license plates of cars right in front of my house. I can live with that, but please fix this crappy app.
