good experience. can't use gift cards. I would be giving this app 5 stars except I think it's absolutely stupid that you can't order online with a gift card. I even checked the fine print on the gift cards. nowhere does it say that they can't be used online. I bought them in bulk, so it's super inconvenient. wish I could just have them load the money on the app instead. for such a large corporation, it's seems like something they should've added by now

The McDonald's app is NOT connected or controlled by any of the McD's you go to. Corporation is separate from the franchise, and depends on UberEats for processing (outside help), as well as gouged prices. You CANNOT use both coupon & the Buy 1 Get 1 for $1 together. The app will let you, take your money, and then fail to process said order (the order doesn't show up on the restaurant's end OR there is a conversion failue). you have to cancel and wait an hr to use coupon again false advert

Overall the app works great. If you are trying to order ahead at a location that isn't physically nearest to you, that's where the issues begin. No matter how many times I try to change the order location, the app automatically keeps trying to update my location to the nearest store. Due to certain in app deals and offers only being available at certain stores, this often leads to more wasted time spent in the app having to redo an order on top of changing the location again. I'll just go to BK.
