Update: biometrics work now, app greatly improved. Now at least reaches the floor of usability. Interest rates are good. App is not useful. Doesn't show fully up to date account numbers, fingerprint login doesn't work and it wastes my time "authenticating" and typing in password every time. Website is fully functional at least. Though I forgot my password once and it was just a sea of onetime codes and frustrating security. Good for a savings account. Wouldn't use it as my primary bank.

I like the layout of the app. HOWEVER, there are some serious glitches with it, mainly with the login page. To summarize, it seems to always have issues with my login credentials that there are many times where I have changed my password just to simply access my account. This shouldn't be happening with a banking app, but it is, and I am going to stick with the web version due to how much of a nuisance it is to have to encounter issues with the app.

Update 6/12/24: this app has gone downhill. My main issue is around mobile deposits. Accounts don't show. It's a known bug but still no fix. They say to redownload the app, it doesn't fix it. Fix your app or I will find a different HYSA bank. Original review: Much better. Faster, biometrics now work, and depositing is easier. Full screen still doesn't work, and logos still look a little weird, but this is so much improved.
