Tips for a Better Donation Experience
1. Drink at least 12-to-24 ounces of water or a sports drink 30-to-60 minutes before your donation. Proper hydration helps ensure the procedure is well-tolerated and recovery is quicker.
2. Limit caffeinated beverages and milk on the day of your donation, as they reduce iron absorption and can elevate your pulse.
3. Avoid alcohol the day before and the day of your donation to prevent dehydration.
4. Avoid foods high in saturated fats and cholesterol the night before your donation, as they can make the donation process longer.
5. Get a good night’s rest before your donation to aid in quicker recovery.
6. Discontinue and avoid all tobacco products before donating, as they may increase your blood pressure and heart rate.

Ratings and reviews

It's a slow process depending on what location you go to. You can possibly wait an hour from your appointment time before being hooked up to the plasma machine. The staff members are nice and helpful. The facility is pleasant and clean. The login app is helpful where you can schedule and do the questionnaire before arriving for your appointment.

Clinic is great! Staff are thorough, professional, even take incentive to be friendly, never at an unprofessional level. 11 out of 10! (Not a typo.) YET, the new app update has made it impossible to make appointments. Reverting to launch menu when I go to "Make an appointment." Repeating the "How was your donation experience?" process over and over. Never been an issue before. These things happen. I'm sure it'll be resolved soon, super easy, BARELY an inconvenience. Wow wow wow! Wow! ❤️

Doesn't offer much as far as an app goes. If you can add the ability to complete the questionnaire on mobile, then check in once you get there i would give it 5 stars. A huge issue is the kiosk not responding and constantly being out of service. I'll see as many as 5/7 kiosk with an out of service sign at once. It is not unheard of to complete the questionnaire prior to donation as your competitors (i won't say any names XD) already have the functionality. So please, do us the favor and add it.
