This app has one of the most infuriating bugs in the world. When you are watching a recording or a show that supports fast forwarding/rewinding, fast forwarding and rewinding just jump by a designated amount, which is fine, but fast forward jumps forward by significantly more time than rewind does. *twitches* Bell's response to this is absurd. Nobody wants to move different amounts in each direction. The least you can do is make it configurable.

Hello, this a feature that can also be found on our receiver that enables you to skip back 7 seconds or skip forward 30 seconds. Our users often only skip back to watch/hear something they missed or found interesting enough to watch again. They usually skip forward through something they don’t want to watch/hear, in this case 7s is not enough.

This app works OK for controlling my fibe receiver from another room. It does have some shortcomings. There is no button for "back", "restart", and it doesn't display all of my old recordings although it can control them once started with the original remote . Navigating between guide, keypad, and scroll buttons is clunky. Biggest irritant is the Android phone and receiver lose their pairing every few days. Sorry for the long-winded review but I wanted to be thorough. It does what's needed .
Hi Peter! Sorry for the trouble. Please try to uninstall and reinstall the app. If the issue persist, please send us the details via email at Fibetvappsupport@bell.ca. Thank you!

It's alright but it's a battery and data killer on the go especially(because you have to keep your location on) and I dont have HD(1080p) either. No 1080p sports unless you pay ridiculous prices for packages that you won't watch 95% of the channels in. It's probably possible, but they don't make it easy to figure out how to get a la carte channels that you actually care about(through MyBell app).
