Over the years, I've had 2 SimpliSafe systems, set up at 2 different homes, with 2 sets of hardware, and at least 2 phones. It has been a few years now, and I have never, ever experienced 2 months of trouble-free operation. There is always some type of issue. Random software issues with cameras, or a device has to be reset, reconnected, or replaced.

Lied to about moving me to their 'Standard Plan' which no longer have push notifications/text messages. I've been on their standard plan for 7+ years (started out at $14.99, increased to $17.99 then $19.99 and $21.99 soon) and always had the ability to receive push notifications and text messages from the app. They keep increasing prices and removing features and now lying to customers. They say we never should have had the option to receive those notifications. I've had SAME PLAN for 7yr.

The cameras don't catch most movement, and it doesn't fully record anything. It loses connection often and misses part of the video recording that would be important. It randomly starts recording when nothing is happening. After a year of use the sound quality is horrible - constant ticking and whirring is heard over the normal noise. Trying to use the calendar to pick a date to view recordings crashes the app everytime. I'm paying to be able to view my recording and can't.
