Is your water meter in a difficult spot to access? No problem! Use the in-app camera to take a quick snap of it, and use the picture to enter the reading into the app.

Is your water meter somewhere dark? No worries! Use the in-app torch to help you read the meter. These useful tools will make it easier to read your water meter and keep track of your readings and bills.

Check And Report Water Supply Issues
If you're experiencing a problem with your water supply, the app will help you to check for any known issues with your water, or report a problem to us anytime, anywhere. These include:

- Water leaks
- No water
- A change in water pressure
- Blocked sinks, toilets, and drains
- A change in the colour, taste, or odour of water
- Sewer flooding
- Blocked road drains and grids

Requirements
You must have a United Utilities account number to register for the app.*
If you are a new customer, please search online for ‘United Utilities New Customer’ to sign up for a new account.
*You can still Report a problem and check Issues with your water without an account number.

such a terribly designed app. making payment should be straightforward, but it's not. Why can't the app support setting a direct debit? There's no google Pay. On the home page, it displays the amount due this month, but on the next page, this amount isn't given as an option pay. The process of adding your card details is glitchy and feels clumpsy. overall, it's a very poor UX.

Why do I need to add all my data again when I have logged in with biometric login when I want to send a query? There seems to be no point in being logged in. When on the query page, you have to go back to your account details for the info, then lose the query because the window closes.

Abysmal app and service!!! UU and their app are simply incompetent. I have wasted 40 minutes today trying to make a payment, and to no avail.

Thanks for using our app. 
We’ve made a small but important update to help keep your account secure. PINs with repeating digits (like 111111) or simple patterns (like 123456) can no longer be used. If your current PIN is easy to guess, you’ll be encouraged to update it next time you log in.
