I was about to take it off, re-box, and send back to the store because it would not connect, could only sometimes find the lock and/or wifi setting up with Android on my Google Pixel 6 phone. Wrestled with it for two hours without success. Then I tried with my wife's iPhone 6 plus. Worked first time. There are some definite problems with this app, but the hardware works well.

These Weiser locks are battery eaters even if they are rarely used. I think it is partially due to the WiFi connection which you don't seem to be able to turn off. Plus, changing the AA batteries is not a simple process. Total pain. Removed it and tossed it. A few weeks later: 1) I stand by my review; 2) will add that when bright sunlight shown on the keypad, the lock acts up; 3) forgot to mention that I lost the key to the unit and find it would cost as much as a whole new lock to replace.

WiFi drops constantly, hard to reconnect. All my other connected devices stay connected. This one is always losing its connection and will only work with Bluetooth. That doesn't help me when I'm away from the house! To reconnect to WiFi, I have to press and hold the buttons on the lock and go through the whole connection process, which is such a pain to have to do every couple days!
