In theory, this app would be very useful. In practice, it was a nightmare. It has twice trapped me in a charging cycle within three days long after I had actually left the charging station. This meant I could not use another charger via ZapMap until the software somehow sorted itself out. After about 18 hrs! I emailed support several times but got no response. BIG PROBLEM if you rely on the app to pay for charges. I was left with nearly no more power and no way to recharge while travelling.

I can never log in to it. I prefer to work out my routes on a laptop it says download the App but nothing happens. If I had a reminder how many characters my password was it would be helpful, Is it 9 my peffered length or is it 10 or 12. If I knew I would then know which password structure to use.

Always been an excellent and comprehensive guide to charging when away from home. Having given me free advice for many years, I only thought it fair to pay an annual subscription for the latest features.

What’s new

We’re removing support for Allstar in this release, we’ve also strengthened our password requirements and added a warning to the login form for the coming removal of Usernames from the platform.
