Update: After uninstalling and reinstalling the app, it now works again. Increasing to 4 stars, could have been 5 if customer support reached out to me after I emailed them. Original review: I can't save any changes to the meals anymore, can't edit food amounts or create new meals. There seems to be bugs. I'm on Android, if it helps. The app used to work great.

The purchase of this door was a huge mistake. None of the smart features work. The RFID reader can recognize my pets chip, but won't allow the chip to be used for the pet. The external (additional cost) tags don't work reliably either and are big and bulky. The worse part is you cannot even schedule the door to lock and unlock at fixed times. There is a schedule feature but it requires the RFID tags, which as stated do not work. There isn't an API to use to replace this non-functional app either

Old app worked seamlessly with the feeder no matter where I was or how poor my internet connection may have been. This app is neither reliable nor consistent. Sometimes if I'm outside of my home wifi it won't send feedings at all. Even times when I'm at home I have to hit the button twice, which results in either a) the food finally coming on the second press or b) two separate feedings come out. The feeder is great. This app is considerably worse than the old one.
