Ratings and reviews

Tinker FCU is an absolutely awesome credit union, but their app is sooooo bad!!! it feels archaic like it is one of the first apps to be developed on early smartphones. To link an external bank account, you have to wait up to 3 business days for a small transfer to post and verify the amount. Other banks let you just log in through Plaid. There are also 2 transfer buttons that do different things but are not labeled. To make a 1-time payment from an external account, that feature is hidden.

Things are constantly "not working, try again later" so I'm constantly having to call the bank to deal with stuff. Other bank apps let me update addresses just fine, idk why this one is making me CALL the location. This is the 4th call in a month trying to move. It's incredibly frustrating and your think that over a year, they'd improve it but no. Constant issues with payments, updating important information, and so on.

They removed the ability to have scheduled transfers between your bank accounts and your visa account. They also do not provide support through their apps messaging system. First response was 'everything is working now. Thread closed.' Second message I submitted had no response after a month resulting in this review. Have to manually pay my credit card and run risk of increased interest rates if I miss any. What a scam.
