You know those restaurant shows that tell you that restaurants with big menus don't do anything well? Bob Evans is the source of that. Bob Evans has a menu the size of a small phone and none of it is cooked competently. That mess is reflected in their app where under some sections there are dozens of options. They must have a lot of microwaves working in these locations because none of it tastes good, none of it tastes fresh, and none of it tastes like it was produced in a food restaurant.

The app itself looks pretty good, but it won't let me order without creating an account, which shouldn't be necessary when I could just enter appropriate information (such as payment and/or contact info) at checkout time. I like the food, but am not interested in having another account, especially not for something whose nearest locations are this far out of my way.

Based only on the usual factors, and the fact that the app "remembers" my previous order, this would be a solid 5-star review. But I minus TWO stars, because the second time I used the app, I discovered SAVED my PAYMENT CARD information. To me, that is completely unacceptable! Yes, they have an option to add a PIN, which I could do. But, since most PINs are fairly short and are only digits, they are known to be easily cracked. I don't want $ card info saved, I want to delete it.
