Ratings and reviews

Only displays notifications when the app is open. Messages in chat shown out of order and with wrong time stamps. Update 9/23/24 - this app has not improved in the past 2 years. We had to put our own timestamps on messages. It kept disconnecting while on the ship. Could not connect at all unless we first put the phone in airplane mode, then turned on wifi. Had to do this SEVERAL times a day.

The Disney app is invaluable to know what happens on a cruise. However, the app has some flaws. There isn't a sewrch fewture to find events by name. It would be nice to be able to stratify by type of activity or age. Additionally, the app connectivity was sometimes spotty. Notifications were also inconsistent with some activities giving multiple notifications while others passed by without a single reminder. Additionally, it would be helpful to have event locations marked on the in-app map.

Great idea but rarely worked. I got an error or a we're having trouble connecting message everytime I opened the app. It wouldn't refresh & notifications came sometimes a day later. My baby was in the nursery & they sent a message that he was upset, I could have helped them calm him down if I had gotten the message prior to hours later. He was back with me when I finally got the notice. Also couldn't see the activities for the week and the chat feature never worked once we left the port.

With this release, we’ve fixed bugs and improved overall app performance to ensure smooth sailing through and through.
