MAGIC KEY HOLDERS & LEGACY PASSHOLDERS

-MAGIC KEY HOLDERS: Link your Magic Key pass to access discounts at select dining and shopping locations. Show your Magic Key pass via the Disneyland app!

-LEGACY PASSHOLDERS: Bring your Passport and valid photo ID. You must show a valid Annual Passport card for Passholder discounts and more.

PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS

-Some app features require your full name, country, birthdate, email address and access to your location data.

-If Bluetooth is enabled on your device, the app will collect precise location information through beacon technology to improve your experience.

-Optional planning tools may ask for details about your travel party, or allow you to save a credit card to your profile for purchases.

-App provides optional push notifications about the Disneyland Resort.

-Features include the ability to make purchases and require a Wi-Fi or mobile carrier data connection. Must be 18 years or older to make purchases.

-Optional features use your device's microphone and allow you to upload and save content from the app to your device.

Ratings and reviews

User friendly. I would have given 5 stars if there were more direct "steps" or guides to navigate the app. Example: In order to find out when Character meet-n-greets are taking place, you've got to click the Map Icon, then hover over the map, go to the top of the app, slide to the right to the Mickey Silhouette thay says Characters, then click it, then scroll around the map to find the whereabouts of the character you'd like to meet. I learned that by trial and error as there is no guide.

Takes some time to learn, but the app definitely helps me optimize my days in the park. From managing Lightning Lanes for my entire party, to mobile ordering food, to managing dining reservations and mobile check out for merch- once I learned how to navigate the app well- I was able to skip waiting in long lines for each of those experiences! For me, I enjoy being able to manage the day for my entire party so that they get to just experience the parks. I feel a bit like their Plaid VIP Guide!

We just arrived and while the app is useful for room access, dining reservations, and purchasing ticket upgrades, locating food that doesn't require reservations is impossible as far as we can tell. There's no option to identify restaurants or dining options that aren't in the park that are nearby.
